About Children & Adults Point, Inc.

A grassroots nonprofit dedicated to empowering children, families, veterans, and communities across Tampa Bay since 2022.

Our Story

Who We Are

Children & Adults Point, Inc. (CAP) is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded on June 17, 2022, with EIN: 92–1431937 and DUNS #: 10–5004034.

CAP is a grassroots, Tampa Bay community-based organization focused on vocational training, residential living, behavioral health services, residential day programs, and transportation for children and families.

We offer empowerment and life-skills solutions to economically disadvantaged and disenfranchised children and their families. Our target population includes adolescent boys and girls between the ages of 6–18 in both residential homes and day programs. We also assist youth aging out of foster care and low- to moderate-income families through education and workforce readiness programs.

Mission Statement

"To reflect on the past while building a successful future for children and their families."

Vision

"We are dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults and brightening their future."

Our Philosophy

The Fruitage of Values

We believe the power that produces success for humanity is to give everyone a chance, provide education, ensure quality training, and guide individuals in the right direction.

01

Give Everyone a Chance

Every child and adult deserves opportunity, education, and a path forward regardless of their circumstances or background.

02

Build Strong Communities

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, empathy, faithfulness, and generosity form the foundation of the communities we serve.

03

True Humility

True character is marked by humility. We must not favor those who are prominent while overlooking those who are not.

04

Compassion & Service

Children and young adults should always be given opportunities and assistance to improve their lives and brighten their future.

Goals & Objectives

What We Aim to Achieve

Our goal is to bridge the gap between families in the community and the assistance they need, while focusing on practical and holistic intervention services that improve the quality of life for children, youth, and young adults.

CAP aims to increase first-generation students' learning levels by 20–35%, reflected in improved performance on standardized reading and comprehension assessments in the School District of Hillsborough County.

We support communities through both short- and long-term initiatives including job training, workforce readiness programs, school-time-out mentoring, and community workshops promoting self-sufficiency.
